Canton, MS, is home to the Nissan Assembly Plant, which has been producing Nissan vehicles ever since its opening in 2003. Just this year, they celebrated their 20th-year milestone in vehicle assembly and production. In addition to being manufactured locally, the Nissan Assembly Plant not only bred top-quality Nissan vehicles but also brought thousands of jobs for hardworking American automotive laborers. The team at the plant is proudly rewarded with plenty of employee benefits and compensation to show appreciation for the amount of work they put into assembling high-quality vehicles.

HOMEGROWN HISTORY

The Nissan Assembly Plant is Mississippi’s first automotive production facility, but it’s hard to believe what it was before. Prior to becoming a home to Nissan’s finest vehicles in 2003, it was over a thousand acres of empty farmland. Seeing its infinite potential, Nissan constructed the facility from the ground up, and it quickly grew into the powerhouse it is today. Some of the vehicle parts are shipped from other parts of the world, but we’re proud to report that a majority of the Nissan Titan and Nissan Frontier parts are locally sourced from the North American region.
